Celtic face Ross County this afternoon as Ange Postecoglou’s team look to extend their lead at the top of the Cinch Premiership. Celtic booked their place in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup with a confident 3-0 win at Tannadice but it is back to league duty today with the Highlanders arriving.
Team News
Defensively, Celtic are able to call upon a full compliment of players. Given that this is the last game before the International Break, the manager will almost certainly play his strongest XI.
David Turnbull is back and in contention. The midfielder suffered a hamstring injury in the League Cup Final against Hibs but after a gruelling rehab, he is back and ready to help Celtic for the run-in. Kyogo is back training, the Japanese forward isn’t expected to be back until after the International Break.
Giorgos Giakoumakis scored a brace at Tannadice and will likely lead the line today. Daizen Maeda will likely also play, with Jota returning from a slight knock.
Predicted XI: Hart; Juranovic, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor, Rogic, O’Riley; Maeda, Giakoumakis, Forrest.
Kick Off Time
The game will kick off at 3 pm (Celtic Park time)
