Celtic striker Adam Idah is being linked with a surprise exit from the Scottish Champions. The Irish Internationalist was excellent in a loan spell in 2024, which helped Celtic to a Double. However, he has struggled to replicate that form despite 20 goals last season acting predominantly as the second choice striker.
Now, Sun journalist Alan Nixon is claiming that Championship side Swansea City are eyeing a move for the 24-year-old.

Celtic paid £9m to Norwich for the striker, which was expensive at the time but given no buyout fee was inserted in the loan, the Carrow Rd outfit played a blinder at Celtic’s expense. You would imagine that Celtic might sanction a move but only if they could get a suitable, quality alternative to lead the line. Given Celtic’s track record of replacing players, you wouldn’t bet on it.
Idah came off the bench for Celtic during their stalemate with Kairat, which ultimately ended in a penalties defeat. The Irishman missed the first penalty with a tame effort, which handed the Kazakh side the initiative. He is a player that frustrates largely because there is a talented attacker there, just he may not have made the strides that many had been hoping since making his move permanent.
They can have him for 2 million and we will even throw in Trusty, Engles and Rodgers.
Get these big wages off the books. Gotta make up the 40 Million Champions League money we were relying on to buy players good enough to beat a team on par with Albion Rovers that even then were missing half their players through injury.
Drive him there myself
