Greg Taylor has reportedly arrived in Greece in order to complete his transfer to PAOK. The Scotland Internationalist is out of contract at Celtic today and he has reportedly arrived as he seeks to switch Glasgow for Thessaloniki. The 27-year-old left back had been targeted by a number of European sides but perhaps not as many as the player would have liked.
As reported by Greek outlet Novasports, the five-time title winner has touched down to complete the final steps of completing a three year deal with the ‘Biceps’.

Celtic confirmed the return of Kieran Tierney earlier this month as the former £25m man returns to retain his left back berth at the club. This news filtered through in late January/early February, resulting in talks regarding Taylor’s extension cooling.
After signing from Kilmarnock in the summer of 2019 to replace Tierney, Taylor has won 11 major trophies. The fullback has fought off a number of players for the jersey, even adapting his game to play as an inverted left back under Ange Postecoglou. Taylor has made 216 appearances for Celtic, scoring 9 goals and assisting on 33 occasions. The player would be a loss as he is a leader on the pitch and clearly a big character in the dressing room. Brendan and the club have left the decision up to the player in recognition of his service to the club over the last six years.
Still struggling to make any sense out of this Taylor situation?
Rodgers made it well known how much he hoped to keep hold of Taylor as a player.
Only to end up getting snubbed.
Yet Taylor looks like ending up in Greece?
Fair to see how that could be regarded as a better career move for himself?
And can a Greek club really offer that big of a contract, than ourselves?
The whole situation seems very strange, and even more so with the possible outcome imo?
Greg was an excellent player fir us, he will be missed. But seen as how he was always behind Tierney in the Scotland set up, I can’t blame him for wanting guaranteed 1st team football. All I can do is wish Greg Taylor all the best, and hope his move works well fir him
