Alistair Johnston has taken to social media to react to Celtic’s win over Hibs. Adam Idah hit from the spot in the 90th minute to score his second of the evening and deliver three points in a closely fought contest.

Taking to Instagram from his hospital bed, the Canadian Internationalist celebrated the win.

Johnston was forced from the field in the opening five minutes after suffering a head knock. Celtic were awarded the penalty after Nick Walsh spotted Johnston get absolutely clattered by Triantis. The resulting spot kick was dispatched coolly by Idah.

Fortunately AJ is giving the thumbs up, even if it looks as if he will be spending the night there – effectively ruling him out of Sunday’s Cup clash against St Mirren.

  1. Our midfield giving ball away don’t expect hibs to win their next game complete different game when a team dosent play all out attack we see how they do when a team sits in no need for Celtic to push so hard when they are up leaving so much space Rodgers must have been pulling his hair out at the amount of balls given a way when going forward we have a big forward why not chip ball up to him watching on tv didn’t know if he was making runs but he should be a target man done well with penalties should have had more looked better when kyoko was linking up with him kuhn poor

  2. Why do we turn so quickly over a couple of bad results and the fact we didn’t sign more players during the winter break?
Apart from one season when Ange bought a couple from the Japanese league. We have never brought a lot of players in. Secondly, we may not have been at our best lately but given the injuries and players playing for their national country, our arms are somewhat tied and if we did buy more there will be an issue in the dressing room regarding the excess players and limited opportunities. We are still top of the league and we are a better team than that lot and once they lose momentum, they will fold like a pack of cards.
We will win the league and we will show them who the champions are

  3. Kuhn was poor because he wasn’t given many passes from his team mates, looked a bit better when he swopped sides with Maeda later on.
