Team’s up – Stuart Armstrong faces Celtic for Aberdeen

Aberdeen interim manager Peter Leven has named his Aberdeen side to take in Celtic in this evening’s re-arranged Scottish Premiership match at Pittodrie…

The game was called off at the eleventh hour four weeks ago due to a waterlogged pitch after incessant raining in Aberdeen for around a month.

With Jimmy Thelin leaving the club, the Dons turned again to Peter Leven to take the Scottish Cup holders with this game this evening possibly being used to create some competition for places ahead of their Scottish Cup quarter final away to Neil Lennon’s Dunfermline on Saturday evening.

The Aberdeen team this evening is as follows:

Mitov; Jensen, Milne, Heltne Nilsen, Molloy, Frame, Armstrong, Geiger, Cameron, Olusanya, Nisbet

Subs: Vitols, Shinnie, Bilalovic, Morrison, Lazetic, Kjartansson, Lobban, Gyamfi, Keskinen

Stand-out there is of course the Celtic Invincible Stuart Armstrong playing against his old team, he’s bound to get a great reception from the Celtic support and if they’re in a good mood he might even hear his song.
