Video: I’m Frank and he’s Tommy Podcast discussion on AZ Alkmaar and Celtic’s trip to Ibrox

Tommy Sheridan and former Celtic striker Frank McGarvey are back with episode 3 of their popular podcast, a mixture of discussion about the current Celtic side managed by Ange Postecoglou and a look back at Frank’s experiences playing for the club in the first half of the 1980s.

And the recent racism incident involving theRangers fans racially abusing Celtic’s Japanese striker Kyogo is discussed as indeed is the Mo Johnston and Alfie Conn signing for the other half of the Old Firm (when it was still a thing!). McGarvey talks too about kickings he’d get from various Ibrox players – remember the old club’s greatest ever player was John Greig a ‘hard tackling’ defender.

McGarvey tells the story of one day when he was having a bad game, and one supporter shouts out from the Jungle “Come on Frank give us some magic”. Quick as a flash another Celtic supporter responds “Aye flaming disappear!”

Except he didn’t say flaming…

Predictions for the Glasgow derby are given…Frank being a little more cautious than perhaps expected until he says that Celtic’s scoring at the moment is out of this UNIVERSE. Not just the world! Tommy goes for 3-1 to Celtic (this presumably was recorded before the Covid news coming out of Ibrox over the past 24 hours.

Entertaining as always lads…enjoy!
