On This Day in Celtic’s illustrious, unbroken history, Celtic have played a number of games but there are two recently that stand out.
In the first closed-door match of the 2020/2021 SPFL Premiership, Celtic hosted Hamilton Accies as they looked to begin the quest for the tenth consecutive title. It would end up being a disastrous season for both Celtic and Hamilton as Brian Rice’s side were relegated. Odsonne Edouard scored a hat-trick as Neil Lennon’s reigning Champions dispatched the visitors as Jeremie Frimpong and Patryk Klimala pitched in with goals.

The second comes in 2017 as Brendan Rodgers’ side sealed a vital win in Norway to seal a place in the knock-out round of the Champions League. The game in Glasgow finished 0-0 but James Forrest popped up with a huge goal for Celtic.
