15 Years On From A Famous Night In Paradise

Few Celtic fans could ever forget the night Celtic toppled European champions AC Milan in dramatic fashion at Paradise. Incredibly, today marks 15 years since that unbelievable night.

Celtic Park was an absolute fortress at the time. Only Barcelona had ever won at the stadium in the Champions League group stages. AC Milan would have been confident of breaking the mold with their star studded side that included the likes of Kaka, Pirlo, Seedorf and Inzaghi. However, it was the Hoops who took the lead through Stephen McManus in the 62nd minute, before Kaka converted a dubiously awarded penalty six minutes later.

That poor decision looked set to rob Celtic of a famous win, but Scott McDonald ripped up the script in injury time to give Celtic an unbelievable 2-1 victory. Parkhead shook to its foundations as another giant of the game left the ground empty handed.

What an incredible night!
