21:00 – Celtic’s Greatest UCL Nights Revisited

BT Sport 2 is hosting a nostalgic reflection on some of Celtic’s most unforgettable matches in the Champions League including interviews with former stars and managers who made history for the club.

The hour long programme begins at 21:00 this evening and it promises to make for great viewing.

Celtic first entered the Champions League in 2001. Since then, there have been many memories and incredible nights. The likes of AC Milan, Manchester United and Barcelona have come to Celtic Park and left with nothing. Ronaldo, Messi and Maldini have done the same.

The club won the European Cup in 1967 and reached the final in 1970. Celtic were regular quarter and semi finalists in the old format. That same success hasn’t been found since the competition was revamped and the financial landscape of football has changed. Therefore, the best performance in the Champions League for Celtic has been reaching the Last 16. Yet it has still been a memorable story.

Relive some of the great nights at 9pm this evening.
