Brendan Rodgers as we know is a superb manager. His achievements in his last spell at Celtic Park speaks volumes. The good news for the Celtic supporters is that the Brendan Rodgers who is returning will be a much more experienced and accomplished manager.
His last four years at Leicester City will have done him the world of good and made him even more knowledgeable than before.
In his time in England he led the foxes to two top six place finishes and FA Cup glory. He also led them to the semi finals of the Conference league so he’s clearly added to his CV, and despite leaving Leicester on a low, he can hold his head high for the work he done there.
Pitting his wits against the likes of Guardiola and Klopp on a regular basis will have greatly improved his already impressive knowledge on the game and Celtic will benefit massively from that.
There’s also an accusation that he got it too easy in his last spell in Scotland, something Brendan brushes aside when asked, but it will bother him deep down. He will be itching to go out and smash that theory to pieces, making him even hungrier for success.
There’s also his European Record which admittedly wasn’t the best, but again it’s something he will be aiming to put right. That all bodes well for the Celtic supporters in the next few years.
Expect to see a much more experienced and rejuvenated Brendan Rodgers. The good times are going to continue, believe just that.
