Celtic are interested in signing Kieran Tierney from Arsenal, according to Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph. The Scottish Champions have been cited as a potential destination for their record export but talks have picked up with La Liga side Real Sociedad.
The Basque club, who are also in the Champions League, have been reportedly continued conversations after it was revealed that the 26-year-old was training away from the first team as Mikel Arteta looks to force a move.
According to Joseph, who took to Twitter/X, confirmed that talks were underway but that Celtic were keeping an eye on matters.
Real Sociedad are in talks with Arsenal over a loan move for Kieran Tierney.
It’s understood the deal could come with an option to buy.
Celtic are also keeping an eye on Tierney’s situation, but would have to overcome major hurdles to make a deal happen.

The Scotland Internationalist will be desperate to leave The Emirates as it appears to be nearing a stage of toxicity. Brendan Rodgers commented earlier today on Tierney wanting to go away and play was important.
The player has been frozen out by Arteta at Arsenal and the Gunners manager has shown little warmth towards the player and his exit seems inevitable. Sporting Director Edu wants a a sizeable buy clause inserted, which would likely rule Celtic out of contention.
