Celtic’s hopes of signing Owen Beck have been dealt a blow after the full-back made a seven minute cameo for Liverpool. After 83 minutes, Jurgen Klopp decided to bring the player on.

The player has two and a half years left on his deal at Anfield and will likely fancy a crack at first team football, having impressed at Dens Park. Celtic could revisit in the summer but with Brendan Rodgers keen to strengthen his team this month, he might see his window to Celtic close.
Celtic are keen on bringing in a striker and a left back having brought in Nicolas Kuhn from Rapid Vienna.
