Celtic land tricky away tie against St Mirren in the Scottish Cup

Celtic have been drawn against St Mirren in the Fifth Round of the Scottish Cup. The holders dispatched Moray-based Buckie Thistle by five goals to nil in the Fourth Round tie on Sunday evening.

Now, they’ve been drawn against Stephen Robinson’s Saints with the clash taking place in Paisley.

Games will take place on the weekend of 10/11th February 2024.

The Scottish Cup game will come after games against Aberdeen at Pittodrie and Hibs at Easter Road and represents a tricky run of fixtures for the Double-chasing Celts.

The rest of the fixtures is as below:

– Aberdeen v Bonnyrigg Rose
– Airdrieonians v Hearts
– Morton v Motherwell
– Inverness CT v Hibs
– Kilmarnock v Brora Rangers/Cove Rangers
– Partick Thistle v Livingston
– Rangers v Ayr United

It is without question that Celtic have landed the trickiest tie but it is one that they have shown this year that they can overcome in style.

St Mirren made their way into the hat thanks to a win against Queen of the South but their progression means that MoTM in that game Kwon will not be able to play against his parent side.
