Celtic confirm sensational Kieran Tierney return from Arsenal

Celtic have confirmed the sensational return of Kieran Tierney. The 50-cap Scotland Internationalist left Paradise in the summer of 2019 but just six years later, he returns to the Scottish Champions.

After a meeting with Tierney at a Celtic Foundation Function in October, Brendan convinced the player to make the sensational return to his boyhood club. Anticipation has been growing and, this afternoon, Celtic fans welcomed KT back to the club where he will wear the 63 jersey once more.

The 28-year-old has agreed a five year deal but the likelihood is that he will see out his career with Celtic. KT has made 170 appearances for the club and will be eager to add to that figure over the coming seasons while competing for silverware and driving the club on in Europe.

This is a statement signing from the club, who beat opposition from elsewhere in Europe to secure his signature. The hope is that the manager is continued to be backed and can help push the club towards tangible success in Europe while continuing domestic dominance.

Welcome back KT!
