Celtic tease Kieran Tierney announcement with Tuesday afternoon post

Celtic have teased the announcement of Kieran Tierney’s return to the club with a fantastic video posted on Tuesday afternoon. The Scottish Champions shared a clip on Twitter with the tagline ‘BacKToParadise’ featured throughout.

The video begins in London with Arsenal before travelling North to Glasgow, hinting that the impending announcement of KT is coming.

Tierney signed a pre-contract with Celtic at the beginning of the year that will see him make a sensational return to Glasgow’s East End. The 27-year-old was offered contracts to remain in the Premier League and even to return to Spain, sample Germany or Italy. However, the emotional draw to Celtic proved too great for the Scotland Internationalist.

Celtic will hope that Tierney is the first of a few first team announcements made early in the window as Brendan Rodgers looks to have his side ready for the start of the campaign and the UCL Playoffs. The club will, however, have to add another leftback with Greg Taylor expected to leave to join Greek side PAOK in the coming days.
