Leigh Griffiths’ Mother Puts Concerned Fans At Ease With Facebook Update

Leigh Griffiths posted a cryptic Instagram video last night, in which the audio of Lewis Capaldi singing Headspace was accompanied with the lyrics “I won’t bother you anymore, I’ll be gone this time next year.”

Since that post, the Celtic striker has deleted his Twitter account and shut down his social media. Many fans were already concerned and this only added fuel to the fire.

Given what Griffiths has been through with his mental health problems lately, fans of many clubs expressed concern for his welfare. However, Leigh’s mother, Gloria, has posted an update on the situation to put people’s minds at ease.

Griffiths’ mother took to Facebook to make it known that Leigh is okay:

Hopefully Leigh can hit the ground running and renew his superb striking partnership with Odsonne Edouard very soon.
