Video: Doig opens scoring versus Celtic, minutes after Hoops miss big chance

HIBS took a shock lead at Celtic Park this afternoon after Daryl Horgan’s clipped cross was smashed into the net by Doig running into the box. The Celtic defence didn’t cope with the neat through ball and the Edinburgh side capitalised on the half chance thanks to a tidy finish from Doig.

Minutes earlier, Celtic spurned a chance to open the scoring with a chance from Scott Roberston hitting the side netting when he really should have done better. Klimala had done well to manufacture the move before a through ball from Ntcham allowed Robertson time in front of goal. Celtic’s second string look promising going forward but it remains 1-0 Hibs.
