Keeping a close eye on Dylan McGeouch

DYLAN McGEOUCH could be leaving Hibs in the summer. Neil Lennon is trying desperately to get him to sign a new deal but so far without any success.

He joined Hibernian on for an undisclosed fee from Celtic in August 2015 and has gone on to be one of the most impressive footballers in Scotland outside of the Celtic squad.

There has been considerable speculation that Brendan Rodgers will make a move for Dylan’s midfield partner John McGinn and Neil Lennon would not stop that happening provided Celtic met his club’s asking price, so that could end up costing Celtic £4 to 5million if it were to happen.

But what about a return to Celtic for Dylan McGeouch?

McGeouch’s situation is “up in the air” with Lennon recently saying “it is still very open to debate whether he is going to be here or not next season”.

“It is still up in the air, but that is his right, and his agent’s right,” Lennon added.

“Talks are not ongoing at the minute, but I wouldn’t say it has reached a stand-off either.

“It is still very open to debate whether he is going to be here or not next season.”

Scott Allan is still a Celtic player, but will leave to join Hibs in the summer, unless something dramatic happens.

He won’t be playing against Celtic today but keep an eye on John McGinn…..and Dylan McGeouch.

In fact keep a close eye on Dylan McGeouch…

Did we mention that Brendan likes him?
