Team’s Up – Bitton and Ralston start, Welsh and Harper drop to bench

Gavin Strachan takes charge of the team again this afternoon and will be supported by Reserve team Manager, Tommy McIntyre and Reserve team coach, Stephen McManus  with manager Neil Lennon and his Assistant John Kennedy still self isolating. Both will be back at work on Monday morning at Lennoxtown.

With thirteen first team players still self isolating after the ill-fated trip to Dubai, Lennon will currently be talking to his players on Zoom and will be available on the ear-phones to instruct the substitutes in this match against a Livingston side currently in the best top flight run in their entire history.  Celtic with the self isolators back in the fold will have to do it all again this time at the Tony Macaroni in midweek. Six points are essential so the recovery  job starts today with this team…

Conor Hazard is in goals and the back four is Tony Ralston, Shane Duffy, Nir Bitton and Diego Laxalt.

In the middle of the park Celtic continue with the same personnel from the Hibs game so field Ismaila Soro, David Turnbull, Tom Rogic and captain Callum McGregor with Jeremie Frimpong being pushed further forward and Mikey Johnston the striker. That’s if it’s a 4,4 (diamond) 2. Perhaps its back to a 3-5-2? We’ll know soon enough!

Subs are Ross Doohan, Greg Taylor, Scott Robertson, Armstrong Oko-Flex, Ewan Henderson, Cameron Harper, Stephen Welsh and Karamoko Dembele.

Here’s how the visitors are lining up…
