Team’s Up – Duffy dropped and Kenny’s debut, Ajeti starts

Neil Lennon has made five changes from the side that were beaten by St Mirren at Celtic Park on Saturday. With Celtic sitting 23 points behind Rangers, it was widely expected for Lennon to be removed; however, he has been retained much to the dismay of the Celtic support. Although tonight, The Scottish Champions travel to face manager-less Killie. New Bhoy Jonjoe Kenny makes his Celtic debut at Rugby Park this evening as Lennon makes numerous changes to the side that performed so poorly at the weekend in the 2-1 home defeat to St Mirren.

Scott Bain retains the gloves while Kris Ajer moves to central defence from right-back with he new loan signing from Everton starting at right back. Ajer will be partnered by Welsh other than Duffy who pays the price for yet another poor showing.

In midfield Scott Brown returns after suspension as Soro drops to the bench. Callum McGregor is joined in midfield by the returning Ryan Christie and David Turnbull.

In attack, Lennon has decided to partner Odsonne Edouard with Albian Ajeti.

On the bench: Barkas, Duffy, Griffiths, Klimala, Soro, Rogic, Johnston, Elyounoussi and Laxalt
