Video: Kerr McInroy continues scoring form on loan from Celtic

Celtic loanee Kerr McInroy continued his scoring run with another excellent strike for Airdrie. The Airdrie loan star netted in the second half a goal that would prove to be the winner as Airdrie beat Queen’s Park.

Just days after firing this effort, McInroy is continuing to impress, which will have surely caught the attention of Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou. He came up against fellow Celtic loanee Luca Connell in the centre of midfield, with McInroy shining.

The 21-year-old, who plays as a defensive midfielder, central defender and left-back, will be hoping to showcase his talents in the SPFL League One. Having made 22 appearances for Dunfermline last season, it was expected that he would have made another loan move to the second tier but interest didn’t manifest into anything concrete, allowing Airdrie to move in.

The player has recently conceded that he doesn’t think he will return to Celtic, even though the club retain an option to sign him for another year. His performances will only increase the club’s chances of retaining him or another team swooping to sign him next season.
