Celtic B to continue in Scottish Lowland League after clubs vote

Celtic B Team will continue to play their football in the Scottish Lowland League after the clubs voted to allow Tommy McIntyre’s team to remain in the division. Celtic and Rangers were admitted for one season in order to allow their youngsters to develop whilst playing at a decent value.

Players like Owen Moffat and Dane Murray, guys that have a pathway to the first team, have been able to ply their trade. Training at Lennoxtown and playing in the Hoops of Celtic. This way they are able to continue their development in an environment

Celtic are currently second behind Bonnyrigg Rose, who have already sealed their place in the Play-Offs. The move has been positive. The league has had heightened attention due to the inclusion of Celtic with clubs embracing the opportunity to face a Celtic side littered with impressive youngsters.

This season, Ange Postecoglou has indicated that he is willing to call upon the B team to bolster his squad whether that be in training or in his matchday squads.
