‘Aaron Mooy even sings Daddy Cool,’ Celtic stars celebrates Valentine’s Day

Celtic have released footage of a Valentine’s Day interview with members of the first team squad and it’s hilarious. The video features various stars read aloud tweets from the supporters that are very flattering and fulsome in their praise of their various talents and personalities.

Captain, Callum McGregor, Anthony Ralston, Greg Taylor, Joe Hart, Carl Starfelt, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Matt O’Riley, Aaron Daddy Cool Mooy, Jota, and our Japanese contingent of Reo Hatate, Kyogo Furuhashi, and Daizen Maeda all sit and read from the iPad, whilst the media team sit and try to contain themselves being the camera.

Some of the comments are very nice and leave the players really humbled and thankful for the emotional messages of support for their efforts every single day at the club. Then, of course, there are others which are quite weird and borderline creepy! Despite this, the gang all take it in good humour and the viewing is quite hysterical watching their reactions.

Aaron Mooy even sings Daddy Cool!

This one is not to be missed, bhoys and ghirls!

It’s quite a long video but it’s well worth it. Have a look for yourselves…

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
