“Absolutely abysmal” These Celtic fans react to bad second half vs Copenhagen

On the face of it, a 1-1 draw away from home in a European knock out tie is a positive result, but things could’ve been so much better.

Celtic completely dominated in the first half and really should’ve been more than 1-0 up, but Odsonne Edouard showed his class at this level again with a delightful dink to open the scoring.

While that first half was brilliant, they looked completely off the pace in the second half and needed Fraser Forster to come up with a big penalty save to keep it level.

We might look back on this in a few days with more happiness, but it’s fair to say that these fans on Twitter are not happy with what they saw after the break tonight:

As long as Neil Lennon can find a way through the tie then most of this should be forgiven, but there’s no chance that this type of performance will be good enough if they do go through and face a better side.

It’s clear that various players are getting the blame for the result as well, so it probably needs to go down as a poor team performance rather than focusing on one person.
