“Absolutely honking”: These Celtic fans are particularly unhappy with ace after poor first half vs Livingston

Although the scoreline is level at half time, it’s Celtic who look the most likely to grab the next goal but it just won’t go in.

It’s been a first half marked by uncharacteristic events – Callum McGregor proving his right foot is just as powerful as his left while Fraser Forster had a shocker for the Livi equaliser.

There’s no real reason for Celtic to panic just now, but Livi’s home record and the result here earlier in the season will start to play on some minds.

You might expect Fraser Forster to take some stick after the mistake, but he’s been so good this season that it can be forgiven, but his fellow Southampton loanee isn’t so lucky.

He’s been poor since returning from injury, and plenty of fans have criticised him after the first half display:

It’s not clear if his form earlier in the season was a fluke or if he just needs time to get back up to speed, but he is going to have to do much more to convince Celtic to stump up the cash to sign him at the end of the season.
