Ajeti update – leading West Ham account claims attacker reluctant to make Parkhead move

ALBIAN AJETI has stalled on a move to Celtic as he continues to weigh up his options. The Swiss striker was given a few days to decide on where he would be playing his football next season and a loan with an option to buy appeared the likeliest outcome.

Leading West Ham account ExWHUemployee has tweeted saying that due to Ajeti’s reluctance the club have been contacted by
clubs looking for Ajeti’s signature.

The 23-year-old Swiss International has failed to make an impact since joining the Hammers from Basel last summer for £8m. Now, Neil Lennon looks set to agree a deal to bring Ajeti to Paradise on a loan-to-buy agreement.

David Moyes has been ready to sanction a deal to allow the Swiss striker to switch the London Stadium for the Scottish Champions after just 9 Premier League appearances. Now, signalling his intent to get Ajeti out of the club has sounded out other options ahead of the new season.

It is likely that Ajeti wants more assurances about playing time – with Odsonne Edouard as the club’s No.1.

Although Football London   understands that West Brom are looking at other options, rather than Ajeti meaning there may be life in the move to Celtic yet.
