Alan Brazil admits nerves ahead of tomorrow’s Glasgow Derby

Pundit and Celtic fan Alan Brazil has admitted that he is nervous about tomorrow’s Glasgow Derby. The broadcaster is based in England but still maintains his support for Celtic, sparking up a relationship with former Rangers striker Ally McCoist.

When asked by McCoist where he would be watching the game, Brazil told Talksport listeners that he was more worried about Sunday’s game.

“From behind the couch. I am worried about Sunday, but I am not worried about the semi final, I am not worried about the final game, the decider at Parkhead.”

Ange Postecoglou’s side can go six points clear with a win at Ibrox. Brazil was left with egg on his face regarding remarks that he made about the Australian when he was appointed as manager last summer.

The first game between the sides this season resulted in a narrow Rangers win, despite Celtic dominating. There were no away fans present at this game in August. Then in February, Celtic blew Rangers away with a sensational first half performance. Celtic will be hoping to replicate this form and gain the three points that could be so pivotal to reclaiming the league title.
