All eyes on Norway v Spain for Callum McGregor and Scotland

All eyes around Scotland will be focused on Norway’s game against Spain in Oslo as the result could clinch Scotland’s place at Euro 2024 in Germany. Steve Clarke’s side lead the group by three points but Luis de la Fuenta’s team have a game in hand, which they will play tonight.

What is at Stake?

Scotland would have rather sealed their own path to qualification by getting a point in Spain. However, VAR decided to intervene and cancel out (wrongly) Scott McTominay’s strike. The game was finely poised at 0-0 following this before Spain scored twice. The group is still headed up by Scotland (15 points) but Spain are three behind (12  points) with Norway sitting in third place with 10 points.

Norway require to win all of their remaining games to have a chance to get to Germany but if Spain can win or draw, then Scotland will have sealed qualification.

Kick Off Time

The Euro 2024 qualifier takes place at Ulleval Stadion, Oslo, Norway on Sunday, October 15. Kick-off is 7.45pm.

Where to Watch

Scotland fans will be able to watch the game on Viaplay 2, with coverage beginning at 7:35pm.
