‘Announce Brendan talking about loyalty,’ as Lustig talks up Celtic in KAA Gent video

BELGIUM side KAA Gent have been introducing their new signings to their supporters this morning on social media. The new arrivals of course include the former Celtic Star Mikael Lustig and as he always does the Swedish right back talks up his eight magnificent years playing for ‘a great club like Celtic’.

Mikael, who was formally thanked by The Green Brigade at the weekend, looks to be settling in well to life at his new club and is putting in three training sessions a day. Gent look like they’ve got themselves a decent right back without even paying a transfer fee. Good business for the Europa League side.

Meanwhile Lustig’s former manager Brendan Rodgers has suffered a blow with the news that his top defender, a bloke called Harry Maguire, has made it known that he wants to leave Leicester City.

“Announce Brendan talking about loyalty”, someone on Twitter immediately observed.

Here’s that message that The Green Brigade sent to Mikael Lustig on Saturday.

Meanwhile if you only read one other Celtic article today make sure it is this outstanding contribution from Matt Corr concerning Celtic’s trip to Sarajevo last week…

‘Something inside, so strong…the spirit of Miss Sarajevo,’ Matt Corr’s Diary, Dedicated to the victims of the Siege of Sarajevo and the massacre at Srebrenica
