Albian Ajeti will not face a two-match suspension after the SFA Tribunal ruled that the charge of simulation was ‘not proved’. The fast tracked hearing came to the conclusion that there was not evidence to prove that there was simulation present.

Ajeti’s heel is hit by Doyle’s hand, it is soft but it is still a penalty. The use of retrospective action is quite bizarre considering that you can clearly see contact impacting his left ankle.
Despite five goals in his opening five games, Ajeti was injured in as he scored against Hibs. He then went fifteen games without a goal, ending that drought against Killie. Now, the player will hope to put this hearing behind him so he can continue playing and hopefully striking up a partnership with Odsonne Edouard.
The player has struggled to really settle and he admitted in the wake of the win at Rugby Park that he was working hard to get better and fitter, we will hopefully reap the rewards of this dedication in the coming weeks as Ajeti gets up to speed.
The decision was just, the fact that the player was cited in the first place was bizarre.
