Breaking: Celtic dealt blow as Ryan Christie set for 14 day isolation

RYAN CHRISTIE will miss Celtic’s game versus the Rangers after Stuart Armstrong tested positive on Scotland duty. The attacking midfielder will have to self isolate for two weeks after Armstrong tested positive ahead of Scotland’s game with Israel tomorrow.

This is another massive blow for Neil Lennon after Odsonne Edouard tested positive. Christie is one of Celtic’s most creative players and will be a huge loss in the upcoming game versus Steven Gerrard’s side on 17 October .

Tom Rogic and David Turnbull are worthy to step into the place of Christie but the perils of international duty are being laid bare for all to see. The club need to be very careful with the future games and keep players safe in order to keep our campaign on track.

Neil Lennon said that he was worried about losing players during the international break and now two of his best players are set to miss out one of the biggest games of the season.
