Brendan may well opt for same again Celts

Barring any injuries, today could see the same starting XI last time out…

After a fortnight with Celtic, Brendan Rodgers’ side is back in league action at Paradise this afternoon aiming to further stretch our lead and put more pressure on theRangers who play tomorrow lunch time at Pittodrie.

Motherwell are of course the visitors to Celtic Park today and despite being on a bad run of form will still be a hard task to overcome.

From our own perspective, we were in blistering form and put on our best performance of the season in our last game which was of course the 6-0 humbling of Aberdeen. We want to keep that momentum going and despite the inconvenience of the international break, it’s something we are more than capable of doing.

To do that we need our strongest starting XI available and at this moment that was the side who started the game against the Dons.

Yes there may be injury doubts over Kyogo and Palma, but if both are fit which is very likely, then it should be an unchanged side. Yang and Palma on the flanks make us a very direct side and we look dangerous every time we go forward. Both are very creative players and always looking to attack.

In midfield Odin Thiago Holm is a breath of fresh air. He has energy in abundance and is always wanting the ball, and when he gets it he’s always looking for a forward pass. He’s a superb player who will only get better.

Ironically both Yang and Holm are only in the side because of injuries. That shows that our squad has great depth, let’s hope we see them both from the start today.
