Brendan relies on his Squad players at Fir Park

CELTIC manager Brendan Rodgers is taking a significant gamble tonight with his team selection for the match against Motherwell.

Craig Gordon is back in goals as expected and there are two changes to the back four from the Cup Final with Cristian Gamboa and Jozo Simunovic both starting with Mikael Lustig and the injured Dedryck Boyata both out.

Filip Benkovic and Kieran Tierney are the only two defenders to keep their starting place.

In midfield skipper Scott Brown returns to the side alongside Olivier Ntcham.

The three attacking midfielders are Ryan Christie in the number 10 position with Callum McGregor on the left and Jonny Hayes on the right.

Leigh Griffiths leads the line.

The Celtic subs this evening are Scott Bain, Emilio Izaguirre, Jack Hendry, Tom Rogic, Odsonne Edouard, Scotty Sinclair and James Forrest – so there’s plenty of quality there if required.
