CELTIC have taken a dig at Charlie Nicholas in their latest tweet tonight. The Scottish Champions were on the end of a bizarre rant from the ex-Celtic striker in which he said that Rangers had enjoyed a better window than Celtic, despite 5 Internationalist and 1 Scotland U21 star signing.
Neil Lennon responded to these comments at lunchtime but the Celtic Twitter admin took a brilliant dig at Nicholas, satirising his much maligned ‘I’m sitting here thinking’ catchphrase.
🤩 Just sitting there thinking… what a window!
Another warm welcome to all the new Bhoys! 👋🍀 pic.twitter.com/oAEjaHt7mD

Nicholas’ outburst was bizarre and almost acted in an attempt to get himself from coverage off the back of Celtic’s outstanding transfer window. The ex-Sky pundit was speaking in his Daily Record column as he looks to keep himself relevant.
Elsewhere, Celtic have been dealt a blow with James Forrest being sidelined for up to six weeks with a minor stress fracture on his ankle. This will mean that Forrest will miss the game versus Rangers on October 17 and until November.
