Brilliant – Chris Sutton trolls Gerrard

CHRIS SUTTON is never one to shy away from controversy and last night, he jumped in with both feet to deliver a stinging yet hilarious put down to Steven Gerrard and Rangers. The Ibrox club, who have launched their season tickets for next season, featured a claim by Steven Gerrard that ‘Rangers Make Glasgow.’

Instead of picking apart the argument, maybe by stating Celtic have won 10 trophies in a row and are on course to an 11th – Sutton adopted just to mock the claim.

He replied ‘Rangers make Glasgow……. Fill in the missing word.’ The tweet earned 1.5k likes and 900 comments of Celtic supporters finding it brilliant.

Sutton has a habit for winding up Rangers fans. Earlier this week he took a shot back at Rangers coach Michael Beale, who claimed the League cup final was ‘the most one sided in history.’

Long may it continue from the big man.
