“Brilliant even if the big man has not tried the black pudding yet”

Had Ange Postecoglou, heaven forbid, ended up managing at the Den of No Equity he would at least have had the opportunity to sample one of those world class breakfasts that they used to talk about during their ‘journey’ and that would have given him the chance to sample the delights of black pudding.

It appears that Ange has passed on the opportunity so far as Celtic manager, he’s probably holding out to get some Stornoway black pudding which unlike that mob across the city really is ‘simply the best’.

“Someone needs to give Ange a roll with square sausage & black pudding before he says anything else daft about them,” one supporter noted.

Callum McGregor was warning Ange about the winter weather at Lennoxtown and by that time hopefully he’ll have gathered a taste for the old black pudding and that will stand him in good stead for the next Scottish bush tucker challenge in late January 2022…haggis!

Can Ange man up and get through his fair share of these two Scottish classics dishes? Time will tell. For now though he’s looking forward to getting to see a little bit of Scotland during the international break. Before that though he’s got three points to bring home tomorrow for what will be his first Beautiful Sunday…
