Brilliant supporter footage shows summer signing loves Celtic

Kelechi Iheanacho scored for Celtic this afternoon as the Nigerian forward continues to impress since arriving in Glasgow. The ex-Man City and Leicester forward signed a a free agent as Brendan Rodgers brought in a familiar face to bolster his frontline.

Despite the disappointment in the window as a whole, Iheanacho has proven himself to be a shrewd acquisition with three goals and an assist since arriving from Sevilla.

The striker scored from the spot in the first half but with Celtic chasing a winner against Motherwell, Brendan subbed the attacker off as he looks to manage his minutes with him getting up to speed.

After being subbed, Iheanacho was filmed by supporters from the Main Stand after taking his place on the Celtic bench.

After Daizen Maeda’s injury time winner, Iheanacho sprinted down the touchline as he celebrated with his teammates.

Iheanacho is still getting up to speed at Celtic, having missed a chunk of football over the last year. It is clear, however, that he is loving being involved with the Scottish Champions.
