Broony’s Cake Days A Week – Check out this ‘Proper’ Cake for a ‘Proper’ Invincible

Scott Brown signed off from his mega-successful 14 year stint at Celtic on Saturday in the unremarkable 0-0 draw with Scottish Cup Finalists Hibs. Then he enjoyed a family celebration where he was presented with this rather amazing Celtic themed cake and he certainly looked pleased at the baker’s tribute!

“I had the absolute pleasure of making this baby for Scott Brown’s family celebrating his Celtic career, cannot thank Lisa enough for asking me to be part of such a special celebration- good luck for the future,” Cakedaysaweek posted on Instagram. And it’s a pretty spectacular cake too! Have a look…

Brown speaking after his final match for Celtic, revealed that he’d made up his mind at the beginning of this season that he’d be leaving come what may when this campaign was over. “My mind was made up at the start of the season. I wanted a new challenge and I knew it was either go and do 10 or finish on nine with a quadruple Treble,” he told Celtic TV at Easter Road.

“I wanted to give it one last go and see it as far as I possibly could – and the board and everyone upstairs have been fantastic with me. They offered me a new deal to stay and be part of it but I wanted to see how it worked with a different club.

“I had a fantastic time at Hibs. I came to Celtic eventually and had a fantastic time, and now it’s for me to try and push Aberdeen as far as I possibly can with Stephen Glass and Allan Russell, and look forward to the future in coaching with a little bit of playing as well.”

And Broony managed one last brilliant dig at theRangers pointing out what a Proper Invincible is…
