BTS Video – Why Motherwell fan Tam Cowan was at Star of Glasgow’s Green and White shoot

CELTIC’S outstanding Christmas video was released on Friday morning and has been widely viewed online and was also played a few times at yesterday’s 4-0 win over Livingston on the two big screens.

Celtic TV have also released a behind the scenes video which is always worth watching. So let’s have a look at what happened on filming day at the Star of Glasgow’s Green & White film shoot at the Mitchell Theatre in Glasgow. While you can expect to see the likes of Bertie Auld, Neil Lennon and plenty of the first team squad, you might be surprised to see Motherwell fan and radio and TV pundit Tam Cowan unexpectedly popping up for the film shoot. Watch the vide to find out why the Off the Ball host was there.

Here’s Celtic TV’s behind the scenes look at the Christmas video shoot for Star of Lisbon, Star so bright Star of Glasgow’s Green and White.

Some feedback the video has received on You Tube: “Bolingoli looked like “wtf” in the video, don’t think he’s been involved in much marketing.”…”Things like this make me proud to be a Celtic fan.”…”Great to see Griff smiling again.”…”Good to see Bertie involved. Nice early Christmas present would have 3 handles on it….if you catch my drift.”…”Love it but why are Calmac and Ryan flapping their hands when they have wings on their backs?”…”Those Hoops onesies will fly off the shelf.”…”Love it Bhoys and Ghirls. Brings a smile to me face.”

Then one obsessed Rangers fan pops up and wants to talk about their favourite warped subject. Sad really.

Here’s Star of Lisbon, Star so bright Star of Glasgow’s Green and White again if you haven’t seem it or maybe just fancy watching it again and again. This brilliant Celtic video has already been viewed 93,462 times (at time of writing) in just a few days so you would expect should smash through 100,000 views shortly. And for those asking for the lyrics for Star of Lisbon, Star so bright Star of Glasgow’s Green and White, here you go…

Star of Glasgow’s Green & White
We’ve seen Kings play under the star
Home and away we’ve followed them far
Cesar in Lisbon, Dalglish & Larsson
We will always adore

French Eddie has je ne sais quoi
With the ball at his feet there’s no one betta
He’s fantastic, goals are classic
I wanna be Edouard

Well Broony we know that he runs the show
Jamsie Forrest’s our Homegrown Hero
Hollymolly Bolingoli
We have won 8 in a row

Oh star of Lisbon, star so bright
Star of Glasgow’s Green & White.
Title taking, history making
Guide us to our Paradise

Is it a bird or is it a plane?
Its Johnny Hayes and Sinclair again
With Callum & Ryan
The Celts are a flyin’
Ohh come on ye bhoys in green …

Oh star of Lisbon, star so bright
Star of Glasgow’s Green & White.
Title taking, history making
Guide us to our Paradise

Kristoffer Ajer and big Jullien
They’re super cool and built to defend
Mikey Dances, Olivier prances
Lenny rejoices again

Oh star of Lisbon, star so bright
Star of Glasgow’s Green & White.
Title taking, history making
Guide us to our Paradise

Oh star of Lisbon, star so bright
Star of Glasgow’s Green & White.
Title taking, history making
Guide us to our Paradise
