Calls for Oh to start ahead of Kyogo today – Not from me though

Oh over Kyogo today? Not for me…

Oh scored a cracking goal on Wednesday night, and an important one at that. It’s great to see the South Korean doing well and hopefully he keeps improving as he’s got great potential.

Some are saying he should start today up at Dingwall against Ross County. It’s a valid argument, but for me it’s a no. Don’t get me wrong I like Oh and want him to succeed, but for me today is a game we need to be starting our strongest side and that means we need to start with Kyogo.

Kyogo has been a bit off lately, by his own standards, but he’s still a vital player for us and with three points a must this afternoon he’s got to be the main man up top. Oh will get his chance, but not today. Today is a game when we need our strongest XI on the park. Kyogo is our number one striker, there can be no argument about that.

Oh will just need to continue working hard and make the most of his chances when they come, but today he will need to make do with his usual spot on the bench.

Ideally Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers will see his side establish a decent lead early enough in the game to allow him to maximise his use of the bench with Tuesday night in Madrid in mind.
