JAMES FORREST SCOOPS THE CELTIC STAR PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD
One player who perhaps can feel rather unlucky not to have received an award last night was James Forrest. The Celtic Star started our own poll a few weeks after the club canvassed for votes for their POTY awards and while Callum McGregor topped that poll in later one run by The Celtic Star James Forrest was the clear winner.
In The Celtic Star poll 2617 supporters cast their vote (you can vote only once on our polls, unlike some other online polls) and the results were as follows…
WHO IS YOUR CHOICE FOR THE CELTIC STAR’S PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2019?
JAMES FORREST – 1446 VOTES (55%)
CALLUM McGREGOR – 797 VOTES (30%)
KRISTOFFER AJER – 305 VOTES (12%)
ODSONNE EDOUARD – 69 VOTE (3%)
So congratulations to James Forrest – The Celtic Star’s Player of the Year for 2018-19 season.
You can check the voting on this below.
Vote Now on Re-naming the North Stand and whether Celtic’s No5 jersey should be retired
The North Stand at Celtic Park should, we believe be renamed in Billy McNeill’s honour. There appear to be three options for this and we’d like you to express your opinion.
Re-name the North Stand the HAIL CESAR STAND or call it THE BILLY McNEILL STAND or do nothing and keep it as it is the NORTH STAND.
Please vote in our Poll below and share if possible so that as many Celtic supporters as possible vote. You can vote only once but can check back to see how the voting is going.
And on the matter of retiring the No.5 jersey do you think that this should be done to honour Cesar’s memory or should it continue to inspire future Celtic defenders to walk in the footsteps of our Greatest Ever Captain?
