“Can’t Wait to Get Started” – Liam Shaw arrives Celtic are enjoys his first Taste of Paradise

Celtic officially welcomed new signing Liam Shaw to the club today as the former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder arrived at Paradise for his first ever visit.

It’s a change of club, country and colours for the box-to-box midfielder and he’s clearly thrilled at the changes and impressed at his new playing environment. Wait until he sees it full! “It feels good, obviously. It’s a really nice kit in green. I’ve always been in blue but green is my new favourite colour,” the slightly overwhelmed wide-eyed 20 year old said as he took in the magnitude of his new surrounds at Celtic Park.

“When I heard that Celtic were interested, I couldn’t believe it, to be honest – a club of this stature and one of the biggest clubs in Europe,” the new Celt today told the Celtic View editor Paul Cuddihy.

“I can’t really describe how I feel, but it’s massive for me and my family to get that kind of recognition. I’ve signed now, so it’s up to me to start performing on the pitch.

“We’ve got a new manager so everyone has a fresh start and you’ve just got to go in and try to impress him.

“All the way through my career, I’ve had different managers so all you have to do is keep your head down and show your ability and show you’ve got a good attitude. And hopefully he picks me and I do well for him.”
