Celt signs new four year deal then is sent out on loan for the season

CELTIC today signed young goalkeeper Ross Doohan on a new four year deal then immediately loaned him out to Ayr United for the season to play for Ian McCall’s side in the Championship.

Doohan, 20, joined Celtic in July 2016 and he enjoyed a six month loan spell at Morton at the start of last season. The additional experience at Ayr United for a season playing under a decent coach will stand the player in good stead for his future at Celtic.

Ayr are clearly pleased to be signing the Celtic and Scotland Under 21 keeper for the new season.
