Celtic B win away to Hearts in good omen for Sunday

Stephen McManus led the Celtic B team to a victory against Hearts this evening. The former Celtic captain scored a few winners against Hearts at Tynecastle and he guided the young Celts to a victory over the Jambos.

Emmanuel Obidiwe’s second half strike proved decisive at the Vanloq Community Stadium- Ainslie Park.

It is a positive start to the weekend in which Celtic will look to get a double over Hearts.

Brendan Rodgers takes the Celtic first team to Tynecastle on Sunday in what promises to be a thrilling afternoon in Edinburgh. Celtic will look to cut the gap between the Champions and the league leaders.

Celtic will be without a number of players with Alistair Johnston, Kelechi Iheanacho and Cameron Carter-Vickers joining Jota on the treatment table. Hopefully Daizen Maeda will be able to make an appearance but is a difficult time for Celtic to travel across the M8.
