Celtic complete stadium revamp ahead of new season

Celtic have completed a revamp of the technical area at Paradise ahead of the new season. Celtic hosted Newcastle United last weekend but supporters may not have noticed that the Scottish Champions have upgraded the dugouts for Brendan Rodgers and his staff, as well as the visitors.

Celtic Curio on Twitter shared the images of the new dugouts, which feature three rows of seats as well as raising the bench to pitch level.

Brendan’s side completed their pre-season efforts with a penalty shootout win over Al-Ahli. The manager will be hoping that he has some new faces to make up his squad after the manager stated that he wanted to add further quality to his first team. Celtic require attackers to provide competition and replace the goals of Nicolas Kühn and Kyogo, who left in the summer and January respectively.

Celtic fans have been hoping that the club will redevelop the Main Stand at Celtic Park to bring the facilities inline with the rest of the stadium. The added benefit to redeveloping the Main Stand would increase the hospitality spaces, which would add additional revenue for the club.
