Celtic confirm fixture change with game to be shown on Sky Sports

Celtic have confirmed that their fixture versus St Mirren will be rescheduled from 24 January to 10 February owing to the fact that Jim Goodwin’s side beat Rangers last week. The Paisley side will now host the Scottish Champions in February with the game being shown live on Sky Sports.

The game will be kicking off at 8pm whilst the other games will be kicking off at 7.45pm. The game was originally meant to be played on the Sunday afternoon but the Saints were successful in sealing a place at Hampden with the defeat of Steven Gerrard’s Rangers.

Celtic sealed a Quadruple Treble with a win over Hearts on penalties yesterday; however, attention has now turned to overhauling Rangers’ sixteen point gap at the top of the table. The Celts have three games in hand over their rivals but can hopefully use the win at Hampden as the catalyst to mount a comeback and win 10IAR.

Neil Lennon became the first person to win a Treble as a player and a manager and will take his place in Celtic folklore. He will be delighted with the win and will now want his players to continue making Scottish footballing history by winning the ten.
