Celtic confirm that Scottish musician will play club’s POTY awards

Celtic have confirmed that Scottish musician Kyle Falconer will play the Player of the Year Awards next month. The Dundee rocker, who fronts The View, was announced as the latest guest as the club put together a unique end of season experience for supporters.

In an update on Twitter/X, Celtic announced that Falconer would be providing a special musical performance at the Hydro on Sunday May 12th.

Celtic will likely be engaged in a title battle and hopefully have a Scottish Cup Final to look forward to when the event takes place. Brendan Rodgers’ side have the chance to go four points clear at the top of the table this Saturday with Rangers’ game against Dundee being postponed.

Earlier today, Oasis songwriter and frontman of his High Flying Birds, Noel Gallagher, predicted that the title would end up back at Celtic Park after the Glasgow Derby at Ibrox last weekend in a 3-3 draw. Speaking to TalkSport, Gallagher told Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist that he thinks they will win the league.

“Yeah. I have got to say the Bhoys will do it, yeah.”
