Celtic confirm three fixture amendments including Glasgow Derby

Celtic have this afternoon confirmed three fixture amendments for the new Scottish Premiership campaign as Sky Sports gets round to selecting their live broadcast choices.

Celtic will now face newly promoted Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Sunday 14 August with the game kicking off at 12 noon. It’s the same kick-off time for our trip to Tannadice to play Dundee United on Sunday 28 August and there’s confirmation of the kick-off time for the first Glasgow Derby which will take place at Celtic Park on Saturday 3 September with a kick-off time of 12.30pm.

So travel plans can now be made with some certainty for those coming from far afield to attend matches, particularly the match against theRangers on 3 September.

Celtic’s last trip to Tannadice as a memorable one, ending honours even on the park but the point on a 1-1 draw was enough to wrap up the title for Ange Postecoglou in his first season as the Celtic manager. Today the Celtic players started to return to Lennoxtown for pre-season training and it has to be said that we’re in infinitely better shape compared to this time last year.
