Henrik’s helping hand?

HENRIK LARSSON is currently Assistant Manager to Ronald Koeman at Barcelona. The legendary Swedish striker spent seven glorious years at Celtic and if reports are to be believed, the Scottish Champions could benefit from having Larsson at the Camp Nou. As reported by the Daily Mail, Celtic are keen on taking Alex Collado on loan.

The Barca B winger has made two appearances for Barcelona but Koeman has adjudged him to be surplus to first team requirements and would like him to gain first team exposure on a loan. Celtic are one of a few clubs mentioned – with rivals for the signature from Germany, France and England.

Celtic would benefit from an additional wide player to challenge James Forrest and give the veteran winger some rest in what will be a hectic season. Patrick Roberts was touted as being a potential addition to the Celtic attack but a move for Collado could be on the table for the club.

Neil Lennon could potentially use his ties in Catalonia to bring the promising attacker to Celtic Park. The 21-year-old is hot property and hopefully Celtic can get the deal done.
