Celtic dealt injury blow as defender doubt for Saturday

CELTIC have been dealt an injury blow as Neil Lennon revealed that French defender Christopher Jullien was a doubt for Saturday’s match versus Livingston.

The manager told the media conference today ahead of tomorrow’s game that he had a full squad to choose from except from Mikey Johnston and now central defender Jullien.

The ex-Toulouse defender was on the bench for Wednesday’s win over St Mirren but Lennon has said that he has picked up an injury in training.

From what Lennon has said, Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths are back in contention for starting at the weekend after overcoming injuries. This is positive news as both players have the potential to score and create goals.

The Scottish Champions can go top of the league with a win over Livingston as Rangers don’t play until Sunday. This would be a phycological boost following the two games being postponed as a result of Bolingoli’s malpractice back in August.
